My fourth grade son (10 yrs old) had the opportunity of discovering this book over spring break and can honestly say his interest on wanting to finish the book without being "forced" was very impressive. This well written book allowed my son as a reader to be "in the moment" of Lebron James' life as he attained his goals and accomplishments. Seeing his interest and desire to finish the book, compelled me to read it and would agree all would enjoy reading. Regardless if your son/daughter is an athlete, I would highly recommend this book to kids of all ages. After he read the book, my son concluded by saying, "Mom, Lebron started off with a difficult life but he worked hard and now he has a good life." This truly demonstrates the author 's ability to convey a message. My son attained an "A" on his book report due to his desire to share the story to his fellow classmates.
