الكتاب الذي بين يديك يتحدث عن كيفيه بناء شركات تبتكر اشياء جديده ويستند الى كل شيء تعلمته بشكل مباشر بصفتي شريكا مؤسسا لشركه باي بال وشركه بلانتير ثم مستثمرا في مئات من الشركات الناشئه التي تتضمن فيس بوك وسبيس اكس ولكن رغم انني لاحظت العديد من الانماط والتي اشرت اليها هنا لا يقدم هذا الكتاب ايه وصفه للنجاح فبالنسبه لتعليم رياده المشروعات تكمن المفارقه في ان مثل تلك الوصفه لا يمكن ان توجد على الاطلاق لان كل ابتكار يعد جديدا ومتفردا ولا يوجد مرجع يمكنه ان يصف بصوره محدده كيف تكون مبتكرا في الحقيقه ان النمط السائد الوحيد الذي لاحظته هو ان الاشخاص الناجحين يجدون قيمه في اماكن غير متوقعه ويقومون بهذا من خلال التفكير في الاعمال انطلاقا من المبادئ الاولى بدلا من الوصفاتيستمد هذا الكتاب جذوره من سلسله من المحاضرات تتحدث عن الشركات الناشئه كنت قد القيتها في جامعه ستانفورد عام 2012 فيمكن ان يصير طلاب الجامعات ماهرين للغايه في بضعه تخصصات لكن الكثير منهم لا يتعلمون ابدا ما يجب عليهم فعله بتلك المهارات في العالم الاوسع وكان هدفي الاساسي من تعليم الطلاب هو مساعدتهم على رؤيه ما وراء المسارات التي ارستها التخصصات الاكاديميه والنظر الى المستقبل الرحب الذي تقع على عاتقهم مسئوليه صناعته وقام احد اولئك الطلاب بليك ماسترز بتدوين ملاحظات تفصيليه في الفصل الدراسي والتي انتشرت خارج اسوار الحرم الجامعي وفي هذا الكتاب عملت معه لمراجعه الملاحظات لجعلها تناسب جمهورا اوسع فلا يوجد سبب يجعل المستقبل يحدث فقط في ستانفورد او في الكليه او في وادي السيليكون
