هناك حقيقة لابد أن نعلمها جميعا إزاء إستطلاعات الرأي العام المنتشرة في مصر خلال الفترة ما قبل إجراء أول إنتخابات للرئاسة بعد ثورة 25 يناير عام 2012 وهي إننا نعيش في أكذوبة مستحدثة إسمها إستطلاعات الرأي العام من أجل التعرف علي إتجاهات الشعب المصري نحو مرشحي الرئاسة..فنشر هذه الاستطلاعات بشكل فج خلال الصحف ووسائل الاعلام المختلفة قد تؤدي الي إحتمالية أن يتأثر الرأي العام بما ينشر من نتائج - قد تكون غير حقيقية تماما – توضح ترتيب المرشحين لمنصب رئاسة الجمهورية من حيث الشعبية التي تخلقها أو تصنعها هذه المراكز لمرشح دون الاخر أو نسب التصويت المتوقعة لكل منهم، مما يعني تحرك قطاع عريض من الرأي العام لتأييد ذلك المرشح خاصة من بين هؤلاء الذي لم يقرروا موقفهم بعد أو ما زالوا مترددين في التصويت لأحد المرشحين، أو عدم مقدرة الاغلبية علي الاختيار الصحيح بسبب عدم إعتيادهم علي ذلك في ثقافتهم، وما أن كل متردد يفضل لنفسه أن يلتحق لتأييد ما تراه الأغلبية حتي لا يكون نشازا في النغمة السائدة
