ملخص كتاب رتب سريرك - Make Your Bed لو شاهدت فيلماً أو مسلسلاً تلفزيونياً عن الحرب ذات يوم، فلعلّك تتذكر أن أسرة الجنود وأغراضهم كانت دائماً مرتبة في جميع أوقات اليوم. ولا يرتب هؤلاء الجنود أسرتهم لأنهم يرغبون بسماع مديح من أصدقائهم، وإنما هي مهمة إجبارية، ولو نسوا إكمالها ذات صباح فإن عليهم القفز والسباحة في المياه الباردة ومن ثم الاستلقاء فوق الرمال الحارقة على شاطئ البحر، وهو عقاب يُسمّى "كعكة السكر"، لأن الجندي المغطى بالرمال يبدو مثل كعكة تغطّيها حبوب السكر. وقد يبدو هذا العقاب قاسياً بالنسبة لخطأ بسيط، وهو نسيان ترتيب السرير صباحاً، ولكنه ليس اعتباطياً. يعبّر ترتيب السرير في الصباح عن انضباط الجنديّ واعتنائه بتفاصيل حياته. وعندما يخلد هذا الجندي إلى سريره في المساء ويجد السرير مرتباً، فإن ذلك يذكّره بأنه قام بعمل جيّد في هذا اليوم يحقّ له الافتخار به، مهما بدا بسيطاً أو تافهاً. إذا لم يكن مجنَّد في الجيش قادراً على إكمال هذه المهمة البسيطة، فكيف يمكن لقائده أن يتوقع منه الالتزام بمسؤوليات أكبر منها بكثير في ساحة المعركة؟ وليام ماكريفين William McRaven -مؤلف الكتاب- هو ضابط سابق في القوات البحرية الأمريكية شارك بالحرب في أفغانستان والعراق، وتولى عدة مناصب ومسؤوليات مهمة خلال مسيرته المهنية، ومن ضمنها ترأسّه لمركز للقوات الخاصة تابع للناتو، وكذلك قيادة القوات الأمريكية الخاصة في أوروبا. في سنة 2017، أصدر وليام كتاباً بعنوان "رتب سريرك"، يتحدث فيه عن الكثير من الدروس الحياتية القيمة التي تعلّمها أثناء خدمته في الجيش. حيث يرى المؤلف، من خبرته الطويلة، أن بعض التغييرات البسيطة جداً في أسلوب الحياة لها تأثير ضخم جداً على الإنسان، مثل أن تُرتّب سريرك بعد النهوض منه كل صباح. سوف يعلّمك هذا الكتاب كيف تتعامل مع مشكلاتك بطريقة أفضل وكيف تكون أكثر نجاحاً في حياتك، بناءً على دروس ملهمة اكتسبها وليام ماكريفين من خدمته في القوات البحرية. هل رتبت سريرك اليوم؟ :)
