Gr 7 Up-Students of astronomy will find these titles useful in their presentation of the discovery, early investigations, and advances in our knowledge of various phenomena in the universe. Whether the subject is asteroids, planets, or other galaxies, current information as well as plans for further exploration are described in depth. Observations by early astronomers such as Copernicus and Galileo can be compared with detailed information from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory and other satellite missions. Images include photos and scans from satellites and deep space telescopes, artists' renderings, and reproductions of early astronomers' portraits.
